Miguel Djontu’s photography journey started in high school when he first picked up a camera to cover his art shows and church events. Eventually, he began taking portraits and became fascinated with evoking joy and confidence in those he photographed. Things picked up as he shared his work and shot more clients. He realized that God gave him the gift of helping people see the beauty in themselves and in his creations. After gaining several years of experience, he created Mesus Studios on July 2nd, 2020.

Originally meaning “Miguel + Jesus”, Mesus is a lifestyle Miguel lives out and offers to his clients, “Me + Jesus”. The foundation of Mesus is trust. As Miguel has entrusted his life into Jesus’s hands and experienced a beautiful transformation, he invites his clients into a similar experience through his craft. In clients entrusting their vision to Miguel and his team, their idea will be transformed into something greater than they could’ve possibly imagined, resulting in a glorious product.
